EpicDuel’s latest Design Notes comes with scores of information on the upcoming release.
The Bionic Battalion
The bunnies have escaped from the Biological Preserve, but not every rabbit is a dumb bunny. Several of the rabbits have achieved sentience, and need your help to achieve their plans. These adorable creatures are not seeking world domination, destruction, or greatness- merely answers.
The first rabbit you’ll meet is Brachylagus, the Lagomorph Captain. The first of the rabbits to realize sentience, he is the driving force behind this ragtag group of superintelligent space rabbits. After determining to find others like himself, he was able to find several clever individuals: his lieutenant Myxoma, the strong and loyal Capensis, the gentle Lepus, and the genius Mr. Cottontail.
Brachylagus can be found in Central Station, but you’ll have to search all over Delta V for the other four, as they were separated when all of the rabbits escaped.’
Shamrocks from Heaven!
There’s now so much green on Delta V, that it’s reached critical levels! For a limited time, Emeralds will drop from PvP battles. They will come in varying quality and they can be redeemed at any vendor for mega loot!
Lower Level Love!
With RabbleFroth’s help, the EpicDuel experience curve is being revamped.! The new curve will rise in experience required to level much smoother across the middle levels of EpicDuel. This will help keep players from hitting a “wall” of experience at level 25 and the leveling experience more enjoyable for everyone.

The new experience curve.
Weapons are also being restated to provide a more consistent increase in stats, damage and price across all levels. While high level weapons have followed a steady power progression, low level weapons have not. The majority of them will be re-balanced in the coming weeks.
Mercenaries are also receiving a buff in the form of a new passive. This passive will come to replace Blood Shield, which remains a very underused skill by Mercenaries.
Upgrades!
Behind the scenes, Titan has continued to work on squashing the very last of the bugs that made through the release. He’s also working on transitioning EpicDuel from CS3 to CS5, which could help alleviate much of the in-game lag! This is a long process spanning the coming weeks, but it should offer big improvements to EpicDuel and open up even more possibilities for development!
Gameplay Tips
Instead of the “Power Up” button encouraging you to buy Varium every time you lose, you’ll now see a slew of tips and tricks that’ll help you get out of your losing streak!
